I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a good New Years! My Christmas was very nice, I got very nice things for Christmas. New Years was pretty boring. We stayed home and watched movies and tv. New Years Eve and day is really just another day for me. New Years day we went out for a little. We stopped at Walmart and Fashion Bug and then came home. I haven’t really been myself lately. I am always tired and cranky. I am just not happy with life. This is a whole other story I am not getting into. Happy New Years!

New York City is where I want to be! [Dec 19 2007 / 11:55am] Originally published at Girlwithstyle.Com. Please leave any comments there. December 19, 2007 I am still here! Well the new layout is up. I tried many different styles of this layout until I got so mad so I tweaked the heck out of this one to get it to work just right. I need to fix the sub pages some and should pretty much be complete. Finally! I have not yet wrote my private entry yet, I will soon. The people that asked me for the password will receive a email from me when I get some time to write it out. I have been pretty busy. Matthew and I went to NYC on Saturday. It was sort of a spare of a moment sort of thing. We had a blast. We went to see the tree. That thing is huge. Do you believe that the star on that tree is 500 pounds?? I couldn’t believe it when I seen the sign. Wow. We also went to the Top of the rock. It’s in NBC studios on the 67th floor. I wasn’t too cool about taking a elevator that high in the city, but I knew that the view above would be so worth it, so I got on and just closed my eyes and hoped and prayed it would go fast and that it wouldn’t get stuck! It was really pretty up there. We brought the Nikon with us, but because it was dark the pictures didn’t turn out the greatest, plus we really needed a tripod, and your not allowed to bring one. I wouldn’t bring one always, who wants to lug that thing everywhere you go in the city? You can see some photos of it if you click on my link for photography.

I have been working on the header for awhile now and it looks fabulous. Matthew helped me with a few tweaks with Adobe Photoshop. I am not a fan of adobe, I guess because I don’t know how to use it and I have been using Paint Shop Pro 7 & 9 for so long I am not ready to change! I am hoping my layout will be completed by Sunday night. I found some really upsetting new yesterday. I am really shocked by it and I am going to do anything possible to fix it. I started on it yesterday and was working on it while I was doing the laundry. I have to say this is one of the best layouts I made. It is not complete, but hopefully it will be up sometime this weekend. I need to finish the header and tweak a few things. It’s snowing! We are suppose to be getting up to a foot of snow! Wow that’s a lot. It is also suppose to be very icy as well. Wont catch me out there! I was suppose to go to the supermarket and picked up some goodies for Saturday night, but that may have to be put on hold until this snow/ice gets better. My parents are going out of town so we will have the house to ourselves and I figured I would make Matthew a candle light dinner. We had them a few times, but this time is going to be extra special! I got a new pair of glasses. Matthew and I had eye appointments Saturday morning and my eyes got worst. I figured that they were because it is very hard to drive and see the signs. So now I am a new owner of a cute pair of black Burberry glasses. I need to take a picture of me in them, but I have been sick and no pictures of me when I feel sick! I also bought a new Coach bag! Matthew and I went shopping Friday night and Macys had a GREAT sale and the bag I picked out was 30% off and I also got an extra 15% off for using my Macy’s card. I got one hell of a deal! I got this really nice black coach tote originally like $356 for less then $230 dollars. After I looked at the recipe, I saved myself $108 dollars. I’m happy! I will take pictures of my goodies soon! Promise!

A friend and I went to the mall and shopped around. I bought a sweater, a purse and a cute scarf. We had lunch and walked around some because its too cold to walk outside. When we left the mall, we were greeted with heavy snow! We finally leave and head down the parkway and I think its going to be really bad but actually wasn’t bad at all. So we decided to go to TJ, one of my favorite stores. I didn’t really find anything there, that store is really hit or miss these days. After we left I went home to try my shirt on and you would believe its too big?? I guess I have been doing something right! So I decided to just return everything I got, because I really don’t need anything I bought and save my card for when I really need something. Now, I think I am getting sick. I sure hope not. My nose keeps running and this morning it was a little stuffy, but no sore throat which is good because usually when I get sick, I get a sore throat. I have been drinking hot tea this morning to help if I do get a sore throat. I sure hope I am not getting sick, I HATE being sick, plus with my period coming (I hope) I am going to be so cranky, poor Matthew!
